FreeA clean starting tier for smaller Backrooms sites and single-project launches.
BackroomsHost.com is a real hosted service built for Backrooms-related projects. It is genuinely free. There are no hidden fees, no surprise paid tiers, no data selling, and no ad-tech nonsense. If your project fits the community, you can apply and have it reviewed manually.
Everyone starts on a real plan. If your project grows, you can request an upgrade and we can approve custom increases.
A clean starting tier for smaller Backrooms sites and single-project launches.
More space for active projects, extra uploads, and room to grow.
For larger lore archives, wikis, and media-heavy community projects.
For bigger multi-site efforts, shared tooling, and established community hubs.
Choose a bundled app if you want BackroomsHost to deploy the files, create the database, and complete the first install automatically after approval. All nine bundled apps fill different roles, so users are not just picking the same app with different paint.
A full knowledge base for levels, entities, objects, incidents, revisions, timelines, and evidence-led archive pages.
A long-form archive for journals, correspondence, notebooks, expedition writing, and reflective essays.
A reporting desk for bulletins, notices, incident coverage, analyst briefs, and ongoing newsroom-style updates.
A retro community board for theories, sightings, project logs, replies, and open discussion.
A retro survivor social network for Backrooms community updates, last seen reports, roleplay profiles, image posts, direct messages, follows, notifications, and community chatter.
A recovered-footage site for archive channels, uploads, playlists, and casefile-style media grouping.
A visual archive for recovered still frames, scans, signage walls, texture studies, and curated exhibits.
An investigation archive for dossiers, evidence reviews, incident chains, route forensics, and closed files.
A mapped reference app for level profiles, route notes, hubs, safe rooms, and transit links.
This service is built for Backrooms-related projects. Lore sites, fan wikis, archives, databases, community tools, art projects, ARGs, found-footage tie-ins, and similar community work are the target. It is not meant to be a random general-purpose budget host.
Applications are reviewed manually so the platform stays focused and abuse stays low. That gives legitimate community projects a much better chance of getting reliable hosting without the usual spam and churn.
If your site needs more disk space, more database room, more website slots, or another adjustment, request it from your dashboard. The admin can approve or deny it and assign a custom amount.
The main server stays authoritative. Nodes report in automatically, publish health and capacity data, and receive settings and provisioning updates from the control plane.
Tell us what you are building, choose the plan that fits best, and pick the location you would prefer. Applications are reviewed manually before anything is provisioned.
